Method

  • The company supplies every operating rate and value used in the calculation. TQP supplies the stalled-cohort boundary, visible range treatment, and inspection-path interpretation.
  • The calculation uses the user's recent operating inputs, keeps the modeled exposed cohort disjoint, and keeps senior time separate from the opportunity range.

Assumptions

  • Your own inspection-path friction: Storm mix, market, service area, repair volume, and sales process vary too much for one responsible roofing benchmark.
  • Your own won-job rate: This avoids imposing a universal roofing close rate on retail, insurance, repair, and replacement work.
  • Gross profit, not contract value: Contract revenue can make the result look larger than the economic opportunity the company actually retains.
  • Estimator and leadership time stays separate: Those hours are not converted into dollars or added to job value, which prevents double counting one operating problem.

How to interpret the result

  • The result is a directional planning estimate, not verified lost revenue, causal attribution, or guaranteed recovery.
  • No. The model values one stalled cohort and one won-job gross-profit contribution. It does not add neighborhood compounding, referrals, future replacements, or full customer lifetime value.
  • Compare the result with recent call, form, booking, proposal, and CRM records before making an operating decision.
