Incident Recovery

Define detection, containment, customer communication, manual fallback, correction, and learning before a failure occurs.

The useful answer

Prepare customer-facing workflows for outages, failed automations, bad data, and interrupted handoffs.

Incident recovery protects the customer journey when a system does not behave as expected. The business needs a way to detect the failure, stop harmful actions, identify affected customers, switch to a manual path, correct records, communicate honestly, and change the workflow so the same failure is less likely to recur.

A broken integration or incorrect rule can keep running quietly, leaving customers without answers or sending messages that staff discover only after trust has been damaged.
