Jobber pricing starts at $29 a month for one user on its Core plan, billed annually, and reaches $399 a month for five users on Plus, with bigger crews costing more. That is the plan card. Your bill also depends on how many people you add, whether you sign for a year, what you bolt on and how much of your phone you hand to its AI receptionist.
We sell an AI voice agent and a business system, so we have a stake in this. We read Jobber's own pricing and help pages on October 11, 2026, and where Jobber is the better buy for you, we say so.
The four plans, priced three ways
Jobber prices every plan three ways: no commitment, a one year commitment billed monthly, and a full year paid up front. The upfront price is the lowest, and Jobber's FAQ says that payment is non-refundable and plans renew automatically.
| Plan and users | No commitment | One year, billed monthly | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core, 1 user | $49 | $39 | $29 |
| Connect, 1 user | $139 | $119 | $99 |
| Connect, 5 users | $199 | $169 | $149 |
| Grow, 1 user | $199 | $169 | $149 |
| Grow, 5 users | $299 | $259 | $229 |
| Plus, 5 users | $499 | $439 | $399 |
Ten and fifteen user versions exist, extra users cost $29 a month each, and prices exclude sales tax. Core is sold for one user only. Plus starts at five.
What each step up gets you
The plans stack. Each one keeps everything below it and adds the next layer.
Notice where the follow-up work lives. Reminders and automatic quote follow-ups start on Connect. Two-way texting starts on Grow. A one-person shop on Core can send a quote, but nothing nudges the customer who goes quiet.
The charges that are not on the plan card
Extra users. $29 a month each. A crew of six on a plan priced for five pays for the sixth.
The AI receptionist. An add-on at $29 a month that includes 30 conversations, then $0.79 for each one after. Plus includes it with unlimited use, according to Jobber's help center. Calls it flags as spam, or where nobody really talks, do not count. A text exchange counts as one conversation and stays open for up to 24 hours.
Marketing Suite and Pipeline. $99 and $49 a month as add-ons below Plus.
Card fees. 2.9% plus 30 cents for a card, 2.7% plus 30 cents for tap to pay, 1% for US bank payments, and an extra 1% for instant payouts. On a $400 job paid by card, that is $11.90. Every card processor charges something, so treat this as the cost of getting paid by card, not a Jobber penalty.
Reviews. Jobber's pricing page says review features on quotes need a Reviews add-on. The page does not list a price for it.
What a five-person crew pays: three plans, one phone
Here is a crew of five on annual billing with 100 receptionist conversations a month. The 100 is our assumption, not Jobber's average. Yours may be 30 or 300. Count a month of calls and texts and swap it in.
The math for Connect: $149 for the plan, $29 for the receptionist, and 70 conversations over the 30 included at $0.79 each, which is $55.30. Total $233.30. On a no-commitment contract the same crew pays $199 for the plan, so $283.30.
Read the chart honestly. Every Jobber option in it costs less than our plan. If all you want is software and a cheap phone answerer, and you are happy to configure it yourself, you can buy that for less. What the extra money on our side buys is a website, a customer system, 600 minutes of calls and someone else doing the setup.
Does a small crew need all of it?
Field service software is built around dispatching. Dispatching means someone sits at a board assigning jobs to trucks all day. With one to five people, you are the dispatch board, and the board is a calendar and a text. A bigger system earns its keep when you have ten technicians and a coordinator. Before that, you may be paying for a control room you do not use.
What a small crew needs every day is shorter:
- Someone answers the phone, even when your hands are in a wall.
- The visit gets booked with the address and the problem.
- A quote goes out the same day.
- The customer who goes quiet gets one nudge.
- You get paid without chasing.
- A happy customer is asked for a review.
Here is how Jobber and our Essential plan cover that list, from their published pages.
| What you need | Jobber | Essential plan |
|---|---|---|
| Answer the phone | Receptionist add-on: $29, 30 conversations, then $0.79 each. Included on Plus. | 600 minutes of calls a month included. Answers 24/7 in English, Spanish or French. |
| Emergencies | Transfers or texts you when keywords match, once you set an escalation policy. | Sends real emergencies to your on-call phone. |
| Who sets it up | You. It reads your account data, and Jobber says no setup calls are required. | We do. Setup is free. |
| Quotes, invoices, payment | Core and up. | Included: send estimates by text or email, customers accept and pay online. |
| Reminders and follow-up | Connect and up. | Calendar confirmations and reminders, plus standard automations. |
| Website | Core lets you create one. | Essential Website of up to 10 pages included. |
| Review requests | Review features on quotes need a Reviews add-on. | Send review requests from your phone. |
| Dispatch board, GPS, job costing | Job costing on Grow. GPS through partner devices. | Not what we sell. We are not a dispatch board. |
The last row matters. If you run a large crew that needs route tools and job costing, buy the software built for it.
What a software subscription leaves for you to do
Jobber's own help article is candid about what the receptionist needs from you. It works only if you set it up, and a few details catch people.
- Your existing number works through call forwarding only. Without a dedicated number, it cannot answer.
- Transfers need an escalation policy, and the contact number has to differ from your business number.
- At the conversation limit it stops booking, unless you let overages run.
- It cannot answer what it does not know. It tells the caller to contact you.
- Only admin users can reach its settings.
None of that is a flaw. It is what a tool is. Someone has to decide the greeting, the emergency words, the booking windows and the forwarding rule, then test them on a bad day. You are the IT department. If you like that, Jobber is a fair buy. If you came to Jobber hoping to stop being the person who runs the phone system, read the next section.
Where a managed system fits
Our Essential AI voice agent plan is $449/month with 600 minutes of calls, free setup, no contract. You also get a customer system with a job pipeline, one inbox for texts, email and messages, a booking calendar, a website and a phone app. We set up the voice agent around your services, your emergency rules and your calendar, so you do not carry the configuration.
It does not replace everything. If you need dispatch for a large crew, keep the field service software. If you already run Jobber and want us in front of it, ask on the demo whether a connection fits. Software integrations are custom installs with their own setup fee. If you are a one to five person crew and tired of paying for software you set up and then forgot, this is the version where somebody else does the work.
Buy Jobber if
- You like configuring your own tools.
- You get about 30 conversations a month or fewer.
- You need job costing, GPS or crew scheduling.
- You will actually switch on the reminders and follow-ups.
Have it set up for you if
- Calls reach you while you are on the job.
- You want a website, calendar and customer list included.
- You would rather text a person than read a help article.
- You want real emergencies sent to your on-call phone.
Do this before you pay for anything
- Count a month of conversations. Add calls you answered, calls you missed and texts. That is your receptionist number.
- List the users. Every person who needs a login is a user. Count the seat you forgot.
- Pick the cheapest plan that includes your follow-up. If you need reminders and quote nudges, that is Connect.
- Price the full bill. Plan, users, receptionist, overage and card fees on your average job.
- Test the phone yourself. Call after hours with an emergency and a booking request. Interrupt it.
